Annie Dukes release their debut single ‘Tension’ and are ready to hit the road
Photo: Cole KubzineMeet Annie Dukes, an all-female rock ‘n’ roll band from Jacksonville, Florida, who have recently released their debut single “Tension” and will be touring the southeast in March.
Annie Dukes make great rock music, they have powerful vocals, and play their instruments with passion. The single “Tension” is about female empowerment, creativity, and desire that drives this band. It was recorded with Stan Martell where Annie Dukes had full producing and creative control on recording, mixing and mastering.
Many musicians dream of finding tight, skilled members with a right mindset, and it seems that Annie Dukes have it all. It’s solid and pure rock ‘n’ roll, and they are a supergroup in certain ways because the members include Cassidy Lee (vocals/bass), who you may have seen on The Voice, Emma Moseley (vocals/lead guitar), a touring musician who has played in festivals such as SXSW and Sturgis, Lindsey Michelle (vocals/guitar), who won a Carolina R&B award, and Michelle Spaulding (organ), a classically trained pianist.
Annie Dukes have a perfect setup for a perfect storm.
The band has already made notable appearances, including a SuperGirl Pro Series event at Seawalk Pavillion in Jacksonville, Florida, opening for Thelma and the Sleaze, and many radio appearances.

Emma: “I dreamed we were playing a show and I went to sing our song, “skybridge” and Molly Martin’s song “what you need” came out.”
2. Do you listen to other people’s advice, or do you prefer figuring things out yourself?
Lindsey: “I ask those that I have loving and supportive relationships with for advice all the time. You miss out on so much valuable insight if you don’t reach out and listen to other perspectives.”
3. Where does true happiness come from?
Cassidy: “Being present in the moment with everyone you love around you.”
4. What’s your favorite book or movie?
Michelle: “Favorite books are “Perks of being a Wallflower”, “Fight Club” and “The Martian” and Favorite movie is “Interstellar”.”
