Cities in Dust make a triumphant return to the stage with their new single ‘The Other Son’

Reading, UK-based indie rock outfit Cities in Dust release a vivid new song ‘The Other Son’ via Musical Bear Records and return to stage on 20th May supporting Red Snapper.

Cities in Dust is a rock band that combines live instruments with electronica, having creative freedom without adhering to a certain genre, but instead combining several genres and creating their own sound. With the release of ‘The Other Son’ on May 20, they returned to the stage at The Face Bar in Reading, UK, supporting a well-known British instrumental band Red Snapper.

Formerly known as ‘The Ady Baker Sound’, Cities in Dust have been active and have achieved notable success. They have performed alongside Idles, Rozi Plain, and Willie J Healey, plus supporting artists such as Steve Mason, Dodgy, and Jesus Jones on their tours. Not only that, they also have been featured on BBC Music Introducing.

‘The Other Son’ begins with an energetic bouncy rhythm played by Leo Brown on drums, and it gradually draws you into this blizzard of sounds that surround you in the most delightful way, with Jim Dorney adding some funk on bass and wonderful guitar licks by Billy ‘Smile’ Imrie. You’ll notice how expertly they use sonic effects to enhance the overall tone of the instruments and Ady Baker’s vocals. Cities in Dust is a fantastic quartet of musicians that provide music for your body and mind to enjoy.
