Gabrielle Ornate Releases Emotionally Charged And Epic Sounding New Song ‘Spirit of the Times’

Step one, close your eyes. Step two, turn the volume up. Step three, just press play. Immediately upon hearing ‘Spirit Of The Times’ you are transported to an exotic beach with a bonfire that are instinctually dancing around. This is a song that inspires your inner energy to amp up to an highly jovial mood. To become electrified with the Earth’s energy. You feel as if Ornate’s words are doing a serpentine dance around your spirit as she envelopes you with her infectious energy. This song, and Ornate herself, are as seductive as you could imagine. The undeniably catchy pop rock structure of this piece grips you with Orante’s gentle hands applying the right amount of pressure to your senses.
‘Spirit Of The Times’ bursts out of the gate with high speed and intensity. It’s upbeat and eclectic giving you that joyous feeling you’d get as a child running barefoot through wet grass on a hot summer day. It provides the world with an anthemic call of happiness. Urging its listeners to discard all their worries and just be. Ornate’s soothing voice reminds me Sarah Mclachlan with a more upbeat tenor to it. She oozes pure joy with every word. As I stated earlier…infectious.
Travelling through Ornate’s catalog of music it all bears that same uplifting and joyous energy, so it’s no surprise that ‘Spirit Of The Times’ is a definite crowd pleaser. She’s crafted a song that seeps into your ears, grabs hold of your psyche, and won’t let go. You’re sure to be entranced by this beautifully constructed song. Your spirit will be engrossed with her other worldly lyrics, her intense synthesizers and her energetic bass and guitar riffs. Strap in and enjoy the ride.

What is your biggest goal this year?
Gabrielle: My biggest goal this year is to officially launch my project live and perform around the UK, gaining momentum with each performance I do. It would be amazing to secure a slot supporting a bigger band too!
What’s the weirdest dream you ever had?
Gabrielle: Off the top of my head, the weirdest dream I’ve ever had was a semi-nightmare when I was about 10 years old. It was a warped ‘wheel of fortune’ game on a gameshow that I was a contestant on.
With the game, if the wheel landed on the image of a mouse, I survived but, if it landed on the image of a monster, a monster character came out of the wheel and chased me.
In real life, I ended up actually sleep walking as I tried to run away from the monster in my dream!
What always makes you laugh?
Gabrielle: Witty humour. I love the director and screenwriter Billy Wilder – his film Some Like It Hot cracks me up! It’s filled with so many clever jokes that push the film along so nicely.
What’s your favourite book or movie?
Gabrielle: My favourite book series is Frank Baum’s Oz collection – I’ve always loved The Wizard Of Oz and I still get lost in the escapism that encompasses the Oz series.
What are five things you can’t live without?
Gabrielle: Music, art, nature, travel and food!
