Abrasive Trees gifts the world with their newest ‘Moulding Heaven With Earth/Kali Sends Sunflowers’

Hailing from Totnes, UK, Abrasive Trees takes you on a musical experience that seeks the ultimate truth and raises profound questions and doubts about how we as humans live our lives.

When you press the play button, Abrasive Trees will create a surreal environment that forces you to stop and listen. With the release of ‘Moulding Heaven With Earth/Kali Sends Sunflowers’, the project originally started by Matthew Rochford will now have a full live band line-up, opening the door to a new direction for Abrasive Trees and a whole sound spectrum in upcoming live shows. The single produced by Lucy Board and Matthew Board also features a remix by Mark Beazley (Rothko).

Abrasive Trees create art and rules must occasionally be broken. The lawbreakers in this band include Matthew Rochford on guitars and vocals, Ben Roberts playing cello and bass, Jay Newton on guitar, and Jerome Hitchens on drums, enhanced by visuals from Jess Wooller. With influences from post-rock and psychedelic music, you’ll hear that this band is all about experimenting and exploration, with no rigid boundaries or norms.
