Spyderhuff release a new track ‘Girl in the Photo’ from their Seven Deadly Sins series
Detroit-based rock band Spyderhuff is here with a new single ‘Girl in the Photo’, the third in the SIN7 series about the Seven Deadly Sins.
They sang about slothfulness, about wrath, and this time it’s about LUST in Spyderhuff’s latest single ‘Girl in the Photo’. It’s pure rock ‘n’ roll, it’s blues with timeless classic ingredients, but the song itself isn’t typical, it’s with an uncommon touch, with swings through several moods, and a unique overall structure. It features catchy guitar licks and electronic elements creating a vivid atmosphere that will keep you listening, and enjoy the moment.

As we all know, a given time period and territory brings individuals with a certain style and attitude, and you can feel it while listening to Spyderhuff’s music. The majority of Spyderhuff band members are from Detroit who grew up in the late 1960s and early 1970s having appeared in bands ranging from jazz-fusion to hard rock. Like bending and shaping metal in Motown, Spyderhuff loves to bend and shape musical genres. Behind the instruments that bend and shape are the band members Tom Kuhr (vocals, guitar, harmonica, sax, synth), Don Beyer (bass, synth), Jim Pauli (drums), Joey Gaydos (guitar), Tony Mitchell (congas, bongos, drums, backing vocals), and Julie Noe (backing vocals). Together they are sharing with the world their seven-part series called ‘SIN7’, which will be distributed as singles throughout 2022.
About the band name Spyderhuff
Being raised in the Detroit area, one gets immersed in automotive history. Ed ‘Spider’ Huff worked with Henry Ford when they both were employed at the Detroit Edison powerplant in the 1890s. Ed was a self-taught genius concerning all things electrical and Henry would later use his talents for the development of the early ignition systems on all Ford cars. So, the name is a tribute to all the unsung heroes in back rooms hidden from history who make and keep the wheels turning.
Keep an eye out for updates and don’t miss a chance to see them live!
