Voice of Baceprot’s newest ‘[NOT] PUBLIC PROPERTY’ is an anthem of all women’s rights

Hard rocking all-female trio from Garut, Indonesia Voice of Baceprot are here to make their voices heard as they stand tall of all women’s rights in their latest track [NOT] PUBLIC PROPERTY.

Following their viral success of ‘God, Allow Me (Please) to Play Music’ that gained lots of international attention in 2021, Voice of Baceprot charge forward with a new addition to their music catalog ‘[NOT] PUBLIC PROPERTY’. This is the first song written by Voice of Baceprot all-female trio without the assistance of former teacher Abah Erza, who was the one who played an important role in the formation of the band. This anthemic and empowering new song was the Voice of Baceprot’s contribution to International Women’s Day, which became available on all digital streaming platforms on March 8, 2022.

Their message is clear as they’re standing against exploitation of women, domestic violence, female circumcision, limiting of abortion rights, human trafficking, and all other repressions, and restrictions on women’s will to live freely as they choose.

This project has involved several world-famous figures in the music industry, including Danish producer and sound engineer Tue Madsen, who was in charge of mixing. He has worked with well-known bands such as Meshuggah, Suicide Silence, Mnemic, and Sick Of It All. It doesn’t stop there, another notable person we have to mention is Howie Weinberg, who mastered the track, and he is recognized for over 2,000 mastering credits, including over 200 RIAA-certified gold and platinum records, 20 Grammy Awards, and numerous other awards.

The music video for ‘[NOT] PUBLIC PROPERTY’ was directed by Indonesian award-winning film director Yosep Anggi Noen, known for his works such as “The Science of Fictions” and “Solo, Solitude.”.
